Abstract. Horse chestnut leafminer (Cameraria ohridella Deschka & Dimić) parasitoids belonging to order Hymenoptera were investigated on 6 sites in central Poland in the years 2004–2005. Each sample consisted of infested 100 single leaves of horse chestnut collected in fall and placed in photoeclectors. The complex of parasitoids found consisted of 14 species. In all sample two of them prevailed: Minotetrastrichus frontalis (Nees) and Pnigalio agraules (Walker) (Hymenoptera, Eulophidae). The significant influence of site insolation on the number of parasitoids attacking leafminer was noticed. The highest numbers of parasitoids were found on leaves taken from most sun-heated sites.
Key words: Cameraria ohridella, Minotetrastrichus frontalis, Pnigalio agraules, number of parasitoids, site insolation.
